Terms & Conditions - Products/Services:

Dear Customer/Parent/Student/Applicant, please note that when you start purchasing products from our website and make payment, it is implied that you have read the terms and conditions mentioned below and has fully agreed to all the terms and conditions provided for the concerned products/services.
In case you are not agreeing for any terms and conditions we request you to stop using our website and our products/services.
We have mentioned the terms and conditions for each category of products/ services provided/sold by us.
If any liability arises, the same shall be limited only to the extent of the fees/charges paid by you towards the services.
We shall assume no more liability on account of any reasons whatsoever.

For Counselling & Mentoring Services:

The below T&C applies to all types of counselling provided by us

  • The counselling session slot selected by you is only tentative.
  • This is not a real time system. Final session slot will be intimated to you over the phone after consulting our Chartered Accountant/counsellor.
  • Counselling session time will be decided mutually in advance based on both parties convenience.
  • At the scheduled time, student should be present at the center or through video conferencing 15 minutes before. There can be a maximum delay of 15 minutes. In case if the student does not come for the session, it will be rescheduled for one more time. Even if the student does not come for the rescheduled session, the session will get lapsed.
  • We will be deputing counsellor of our choice based on the availability. You will not be able to decide the counsellor.
  • In case the session timing is not convenient for you, it can be modified to mutual convenient time.
  • Fees once paid towards counselling will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • In case of online counselling, you will be required to take care of internet connectivity and system requirements.
  • Counselling session blocked by you cannot be transferred to any other third person.
  • With respect to nutritional and NLP counselling, we will be deputing qualified person only for providing such services.
  • It will be your final decision to adopt or not to adopt any opinion or suggestions provided by us. We will not be held liable for any results of it.
  • During the term, if you are of the view that counseling is not helpful, then you can cancel for the uncompleted sessions. 50% of the amount (except the GST tax) will be refunded to the student account.
  • Counselling session package cannot be transferred to any other student. Even if the student is from same family, transfer is not allowed.
  • In the unlikely event of you defer or postponing your CA exam to the next attempt, we can consider to carry forward your sessions, to the exam attempt. For this written request must be submitted to the Academy office. Only 1 carry forward will be allowed. After this counselling session will lapse. Decision of the Management of Academy will be final in this case.
  • With respect to video counselling sessions, the student will be responsible for good internet connection and system for an effective counselling session. Further the student should be seated in a calm and quiet place. If the counsellor feels, the location or connectivity is not helping in giving the effective counselling, he/she has the right to cancel the session. Their decision will be final in this regard.

For Video classes:

The below T&C applies to all types of video classes subscribed in our portal

  • We would like to mention to you that video classes are not provided by Virtus Academy. These are provided by third party vendors.
  • Before subscribing or purchasing the video lectures, we strongly urge you to sign up for demo and then only proceed for purchase and payment.
  • In case if you are not satisfied at a later point of time, no refunds or claims shall be accepted.
  • In addition to our terms and conditions, you will be agreeing for the third party terms and conditions provided by them.
  • In case of non-availability or non servicing of lectures, it shall be responsibility of third party to provide the required support and not us.
  • Your video lectures account will be activated within 24 hours of payment of fees to us.
  • You will be accessing video lectures in the third party portal/website and not in Virtus Academy website.
  • We will passing on your contact details and other information to the third party to help them to create an account and contact you.
  • Should you have any doubts and clarification with respect to subject, you will be required to contact third party directly and not us.
  • Our services is limited to help you in maintaining a study schedule and weekly reviews with you with respect to progress of video lectures.

For Test Series:

The below T&C applies to all types of test series subscribed in our portal

  • After signing up for the test series, you cannot cancel or get refund of charges paid for the same. However, if you write an exam and within 7 days of purchase you are not satisfied, then you are eligible to get refund of the fees paid.
  • Fee will be refunded if any students unable to download test series due to mistake of web owner. (Virtus Academy).
  • When you subscribe for test series, you subscribe to certain number of tests based on the package opted by you from our website.
  • We will couriering you the required number of answer sheets for writing your exam based on the number of tests purchased by you.
  • You will be required to purchase the tests only in our website.
  • You will be required to schedule the tests in our portal after logging into your account.
  • We will not be scheduling the tests on behalf of you.
  • It will be your responsibility to schedule tests, download the question paper and upload the answer sheets in your account.
  • Once the answer sheet is uploaded the same will be valued by us and sent to you with our detailed comments within 4 working days from the date of uploading. The answer sheets written by you should be within 4pm of that particular day.
  • If the answer sheet is uploaded after 4pm then it would be considered as uploaded in the next day only.
  • In case for any reason you are not taking up the tests, then the same shall lapse and you will not be eligible to carry over these tests to the next attempt.
  • In this regard decision of Virtus Academy shall be final.
  • We will be reaching out to you and following up with you for 3 times from the time you have signed up for the test series and have scheduled the exam. After that we will not be following up with you.
  • We do not take up responsibility for the errors/mistakes in the Question paper and answer sheet.
  • If there is any mistake you can send it to our email id with the test id, we will change the same.
  • With respect to counselling, you will be eligible for counselling weekly once for all the papers written by you.
  • In case you are not available for the counselling for that particular week the same shall be lapsed. However, you can reschedule the counselling next mutually convenient date.
  • We will not be clarifying doubts with respect to subjects specific or chapter specific in the test series.
  • Counsellor will be allotted based on the counsellor availability.
  • We may not guarantee that same counsellor will be available for all the session.
  • All course/test series withdrawals must be done through the in writing to admin@virtusacademy.in
  • There is no procedure of refund of test series fee ,But student if he/she wants can change his/her series for next attempt. Decision on this will be made by the management.
  • General time taken to process the refund is 3 to 5 working days if found eligible.

Hire your Tutor:

  • The hours and date slot selected by you is only tentative.
  • This is not a real time system. Final session slot will be intimated to you over the phone after consulting our Concerned tutor.
  • In case the session timing is not convenient for you it can be modified to mutual convenient time.
  • Fees once paid towards Hire your tutor will not be refunded under any circumstances unless you have cancelled the classes.
  • All the classes will be taken only based on online program.
  • Hire your tutor blocked by you cannot be transferred to any other third person.
  • General time taken to process the refund is 3 to 5 working days if found eligible.

Study space:

  • Mobiles/Smart devices/Tablet/iPad are not allowed in the Study space. You need to deposit mobile at the reception office before entering the study space
  • Study space usage fees should be paid in advance and renewal of Subscriptions should be done before Due date.
  • No refund will be given at any circumstances. (Exemption: Security Deposits )
  • Seats booked for an aspirant will not be transferred to another aspirant (even if they are relatives).
  • Renewal for the next month should be done on the last date of the validity period/month. (*Max 2 Grace days is allowed or Your Seats will be Transferred)

  • Study space can be blocked only for monthly basis. No day basis or weekly basis will be allowed. Part of the month will be considered as a full month.
  • The batches/slots timings are all fixed and no change in batch hours will be permitted. Strictly follow your batch timings.
  • The management has the right to Discontinue any Aspirant who misuses the study hall, who spoils the study ambience and those who are disturbing the studies of another person/aspirant. The decision of the management will be final in this regard. No refund of fees will be paid in case of termination by the management.
  • Get a receipt for money paid. Keep the receipt safely for all future references. Receipt for Security deposit must be produced in Original for a refund of security deposit.
  • Virtus Academy has every right to deny seats or disallow your Renewal/Subscription.
  • The timings of Air Conditioning will be strictly at the discretion of the Management.
  • The membership fee, registration charges and/ or Security Deposit amount is subject to any kind of alteration by the Management from time to time.

  • Management is not responsible for the loss of any books/valuable stuff kept inside the study space. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Aspirant to take off his/her belongings.
  • Study seats will be allocated by the Study space Head. Do not change the study space.
  • On signing up of Study space, first ID Card/Access Card will be provided free of cost. In case if the ID card/Access Card is lost/stolen/ misplaced/damaged for whatever reasons, then for the issue of duplicate ID Card, INR 200 will be charged. The aspirant will not be allowed to use the Study space without an ID Card. The temporary ID card will be issued until the new ID card is printed.
  • General time taken to process the refund is 3 to 5 working days if found eligible.
